Effect of Child-to-Child Approachon Practices of Primary School Children Regarding Epileptic Seizures First Aids

Background:Many studies showed that epileptic seizures occur more commonly in childhood stage. Mostchildren occur, during the school day. During this seizure, child requires immediatefirst aid for an seizure. Aim: The study aimed to evaluate effect of Child-to-Child Approach ofPrimary School Children Regarding Epileptic Seizures First Aids. Design: A quasi – experimental design(one group pre and posttest) was used study. Setting: This conducted at six governmentalprimary schools Ismailia city. Sample: multi-stage random sample study,the totalnumber children was180 (both male & female)divided into two groups. Trained (12 child)and intervention (168 child). Tools: Two tools were used. tool: Interviewing questionnaire wasdeveloped by researcher included three parts: Socio demographic data, knowledge about epilepticseizure its first measures,Students’ attitudes toward seizures. Second PracticalChecklist: it assess practice student’s relation aids basedon Camfield et al., (2019).The Results: Showed there statistically significant increases mean scores ofknowledgesofstudying seizure.And highly increasesin ofpractices. results meanscores positive as well total score.Conclusion: knowledge,practice, attitude primary improved post implementation program compared program.Recommendation: Continuous Primary ofepileptic
